Programs We Support

To help give back to the sport that made us, WIBN Boston supports many of our local programs in need through advocacy, awareness, fundraisers, and donations.

Steve Goode

Mr. Goode was the president of the Black Educators' Alliance of Massachusetts and has been affiliated with the Smithsonian Historical Society and Facing History and Ourselves. He earned a full scholarship to East Carolina University and later earned two masters degrees from James Madison University and Fitchburg State. Mr. Goode won more than sixty wrestling tournaments during his collegiate and post-college career. In 1990, Goode competed in the Rocuzzi International Freestyle Wrestling World Cup in Hungary, where he captured first place and was named the Tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler. He placed in the top ten in the 1990 U.S. Freestyle National Tournament and challenged for a spot on the 1992 Olympic team. Mr. Goode was a very successful assistant coach at Boston University where he coached over forty national qualifiers, three All-Americans, and six team conference championships.

Bior Guigni

Bior is the Program Director at Boston Youth Wrestling and is currently the President of the Massachusetts Wrestling Association. She is in charge of all programmatic operations for BYW including oversight of our coaches, coaches-in-training, and curriculum and through this work was voted as a 2019 Social Innovator. Bior wrestled for one of the first collegiate women's teams at Menlo College (CA) and is passionate about youth development.

Anna Domestico

Anna Domestico is a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual. She is a 2013 graduate of Ursinus College with a B.A. in English Literature. Shortly thereafter, she attained her Masters Degree in Cultural Studies and Critical theory from McMaster University in 2014. Beyond her duties at WIBN, she is an active member with the American Association of University Women.

John Bosco

John Bosco is entering his 23 year as an assistant coach with MIT. A 1986 graduate of University of Lowell with a BS in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Economics he had a limited career competing at 150lbs. John is currently employed by State Street Corporation as a database engineer.

Vincent Domestico

Vincent is a Financial Advisor for Northwestern Mutual. Vincent was a four-year varsity letterman at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to his duties with WIBN, Vincent is also a dedicated board member for Boston Youth Wrestling.

Michael Mitrowski

Mike Mitrowski is a 1981 Graduate of the University of Massachusetts where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a 1986 Graduate of Lesley University where he earned a Master's degree in Management. Mike was a 4 year letter winner in wrestling for the University of Massachusetts, and won 77% of his dual meets throughout his career. Mike was also a USA Wrestling Masters National Champion and has competed in 5 Masters World Championships. Mike has been involved with high technology companies like IBM, Oracle and currently is a Global Business Development Executive for DELL EMC.
