WIBN Launches Webinar Series

Manheim, PA - The Wrestlers in Business Network is excited to announce the launch of its new Webinar Series.  The series, set to launch on Thursday, December 10 with featured presenter Carl Eschenbach of Sequoia Capital, will offer WIBN members an opportunity to connect and learn from some of the nation's most prolific business leaders who also have a background in or a connection to wrestling. 

"The COVID-19 Pandemic has been tough on everyone and the WIBN wants to step up and continue to provide opportunities for members from each of our chapters to have powerful programming and interactions albeit virtually," said Mike Moyer WIBN Executive Director. "We are very fortunate to have a rock star in Carl Eschenbach launch this new WIBN initiative, a highly successful business leader as well as a National Wrestling Hall of Fame Class of 2020 member."

More about our presenter Carl Eschenbach: 

Carl is a partner at Sequoia Capital where he focuses on infrastructure technologies, cloud, and SaaS investments. He is a director of Aurora, Cohesity, Gong, Palo Alto Networks, Salt Security, Snowflake, UiPath, Workday, and Zoom. He is or has been involved with Sequoia Capital portfolio companies including GitHub (Microsoft), Medallia, ThousandEyes, Retool, and StackRox. Carl has thirty years of high-tech industry experience including infrastructure software, networking, telephony, and storage. Prior to joining Sequoia in 2016, Carl was President and COO of VMware, where he helped grow the company from $31 million in his first full year to $7 billion in revenues and from 200 people to 20,000.

Prior to joining VMware, Carl was Vice President of North America Sales at Inktomi and held various sales leadership positions with 3Com, EMC, and Lucent Technologies. Carl has a passion for leadership and enjoys helping leaders achieve their fullest potential. 

Recently Carl was inducted into the US National Wrestling Hall of Fame as an Outstanding American. The Outstanding American award is presented to those individuals who have used the disciplines of wrestling to launch notable careers in other walks of life, such as science and technology, business and industry, government and the military, and the arts and humanities.  Outside of work he spends time with his family and staying physically fit.
