WIBN Announces Virtual Career & Internship Fair

Manheim, PA - The Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN) announced it will host a virtual career and internship fair on September 21, 2023 from 1 to 5 pm EST.  The event will help connect wrestlers with companies who value the intangible qualities that wrestlers can offer their organization.  While the event is primarily tailored for current college wrestlers, any former wrestler is welcome to attend.

At the time of this press release, the WIBN has secured commitments from over 200 current college wrestling coaches who will encourage their student-athletes to attend this free event.  The list includes schools representing all divisions and includes both men’s and women’s programs.  With nearly 15,000 student-athletes currently competing across the country, this event has the potential to be the largest college athlete recruiting event in the country.  Continued outreach is being conducted to gain further commitments from other wrestling programs across the country.

“We are thrilled to help connect our incredible student-athletes with equally incredible companies looking to find future employees who have proven to be committed, dedicated, resilient, and goal-oriented.  Companies are excited that wrestling can be a reliable source of talent to meet their hiring needs,” said Mike Moyer, Executive Director of the WIBN, “Anyone who has wrestled knows that ‘once a wrestler, always a wrestler’ and this will be a way that we can help our student-athletes once they are done competing.”
