Scotti Sentes Named Executive Director of the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN)

MANHEIM, PA — The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) is proud to announce that Scotti Sentes has been appointed the new Executive Director of the Wrestlers in Business Network (WIBN). This national peer networking initiative connects wrestling alums with career opportunities, business development pathways, and reinvestment strategies for the sport.

Sentes joins WIBN after a highly successful tenure as head wrestling coach at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, where he led the program to four conference championships and coached 27 NCAA qualifiers. His leadership extended far beyond the mat—spearheading donor campaigns that raised over $150,000 annually and forging innovative partnerships.

"Scotti brings a unique blend of business acumen, coaching excellence, and a deep passion for wrestling," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. "His ability to connect with stakeholders, scale national initiatives, and drive strategic growth makes him the ideal person to lead the WIBN into its next chapter."

In his new role, Sentes will oversee national programming aimed at building and leveraging a talent-rich pipeline of high school and college wrestlers, fostering career placement opportunities, and expanding WIBN chapters nationwide. His responsibilities will include employer engagement, chapter development, fundraising strategy, and integration of WIBN initiatives across the NWCA's coaching education programs.

Sentes will be based at the NWCA Headquarters in Manheim, PA. He will travel extensively to cultivate employer partnerships, attend major wrestling events, and deploy initiatives such as the Spartan Fitness Challenge and WIBN Career Services workshops.

"I'm honored to step into the role of Executive Director for Wrestlers in Business Network,” Sentes stated. “One of my top priorities is creating more opportunities for companies to tap into the unmatched talent within our wrestling community. I'm here to open doors—for wrestlers and the businesses lucky enough to hire them. When organizations bring wrestlers into their teams, they're not just hiring—they're gaining high-character leaders who know how to compete, adapt, and deliver," continued new WIBN Executive Director Sentes. "It's a privilege to lead an organization committed to advancing careers, building businesses, and strengthening the wrestling community nationwide and across all levels."

With a proven track record of success in alum engagement, business development, and nonprofit advancement, Sentes is well-positioned to elevate WIBN's national impact—helping wrestling alums not only succeed in business but also reinvest in the next generation of student-athletes.
