2024 WIBN Lehigh Valley Scholarship Program
The WIBN Lehigh Valley Chapter is now accepting applications for their 2024 Scholarship Program.
WIBN Lehigh Valley is proud to announce their Second Annual High School Wrestling Senior Scholarship. The Lehigh Valley Chapter will be sponsoring 2 - $1000 scholarships (1 for a female and 1 for a male). The Application process will be open from March 1st until April 30th 2024 and winners announced in May.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a High School Senior Wrestler (not mandatory to wrestle in college)
2. Must have a GPA of 2.5 or better (will be confirmed by coach or athletic director)
3. Upload a 3-5 minute video or 500-1000 word essay (if video can not be uploaded) that answers the following
a. What the sport of wrestling and the potential of winning this scholarship means to you?
b. What has the sport of wrestling helped you to overcome in your life?
c. How will you give back, later in life, because of what wrestling has given to you?
4. Two references (1 from wrestling community and 1 from school)
5. List of Community Service Activities
