WIBN Heartland Announces their 2026 Champions Scholarship Program
WIBN Heartland will award two Scholarships to High School wrestlers from the Omaha and surrounding area.
One scholarship will be awarded to a female wrestler, and one awarded to a male wrestler. Each scholarship will be $500 and awarded to High School Wrestling Seniors for continuing their education.
The student applicant must be prepared to submit/enter all the information below at the time that he or she applies for the scholarship. (Most compatible upload formats .doc, .pdf, .jpg, .png)

Students must also do the following to apply for a scholarship:
Current grade level
Cumulative GPA (with scale field: 4.0 / 100 / other)

Guidance counselor name + email (optional)
Planned institution name (or “Undecided”)
Program/major/area of study
Essay question: “What does wrestling mean to you?”
Word limit: 250 words max
Make sure that you complete all required (*) information required, as well as uploading your Essay ("What does wrestling mean to you?") to be considered for one of our a scholarships.
